Preston North End have been linked with Addicks 'star' Jonathan Fortune and the Preston manager has reportedly made the long trip down south to persuade him to throw in his lot with the Invincibles:

I was wondering if the Charlie MacDonald who signed for Brentford recently is our former youth team player?
It seems to me rather stupidly if we had retained all our kids from a few years ago and basically sent them all out on loan, rather than releasing or selling them, we would have a squad of players about the same standard as now but made up of home grown players.
